Jeff Chaney
Jeff Chaney, CPA is the founder and managing partner of Wolf Bay Tax, a firm established in 2025 to provide high-level tax advisory services to individuals, small businesses, and U.S. expatriates around the world. With over a decade of experience in public accounting, Chaney specializes in U.S. individual and small business taxation, international tax compliance, and strategic planning for high-net-worth individuals.
Prior to founding Wolf Bay Tax, Chaney spent four years at Andersen Tax, where they advised private clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, focusing on complex tax matters for high-net-worth individuals and families. From there, Chaney joined Bright!Tax, a leading firm in expatriate taxation, serving U.S. citizens living in over 100 countries. Their expertise includes foreign corporate reporting, passive foreign investment companies (PFICs), totalization agreements, and U.S. tax treaty matters.
Chaney is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (2013) and a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) (2014) from the University of Washington.
Chaney brings a deep understanding of both domestic and international tax landscapes and is committed to delivering tailored, forward-thinking solutions to every client.
